http://img195.imageshack.us/img195/7997/erm.png I don't really know what to expect on my next bill... The girl said $47.43+tax but I don't think she took account of my value pack... There's also two E/W discounts... So we'll see what happens. |
^ how did you manage 15$ data discount? no monthly fee discount? and this is for 2 phone or 1? |
$2.43 is the new SAF. It's a single line. The trick is get the 1GB and try to get it for $15 a month. then when 6gb comes back out, upgrade it. Also, just got confirmation that the iPhone4 is being processed. |

Products and Services -> View Wireless Usage -> Wireless Plan Because of the two E/W discounts, I'm not sure if there's a double discount... If there is, I'm never calling in again haha. |
200 Wkday Unltd. Eve/Wkends 100 Minutes bonus Unlimited Incoming calls Rogers to Rogers 6Gb Data Value Pack 6pm early evening Call forwarding/Transfer $57.50 + 2.43 GRRF + Tax = $67.12 If i can shave 5 dollars off data, im a happy camper. |

but a $10 data discount is pretty easy to get now a days |
they offered me this plan: 300mins/unlimited eve/wkds plan smartphone value pack ( caller id/txt msging/mms ) 6pm early calling option unlimited incoming calls all for $40.08 and im gonna be getting the torch so i would need data, he said its $25bucks and it includes 500mb and the social networking shit. Which would make my plan $65 bucks wat do you guys think of this? my plan is already expired...and i need to get a new phone and i am a student too, so do u think i can get a even better deal with that? |
^ too expensive..just get the $10 flex rate data plan or the $15 for 150 mb..more than enough for bb |
wat should i say to them? what should i ask for? |

why r you guys still trying to retention with these pricks. Just leave their ass and get better plan + money in your pockets with wind or mobilicity lol. |
my guess would be: reception + phone choice (iphone 4 etc.) |

so to use their data..you'd either have to buy a phone from them..eg. bold 9700 for $499 + tax ( or was it $450) or get a phone from t-mobile.. none of the rogers or hk phones support the 1700 band for data so ur pretty screwed up that way...forces you to pay for the "cancelling fee" basically up front.. with rogers at least if you play your cards right you'll get good deals.. e.g early upgrades with phones...the profit you make from selling an iphone already covers ur cancelling fee..so I'm not that concerned about signing contracts with rogers |
Called in on Saturday to get rid of my old plan and resign for something cheaper. I didn't want to give up any of my services and in the light of Mobilicity's new plans, I wanted something better. I didn't haggle much so it wasn't too much of a deal: 200mins + 100mins bonus 6pm unlimited w/e CID 2500 texts VVM 6GB $47.58 + tax |
I was paying way too much for what I was getting and now it's somewhat better with Rogers. I hate bargaining and I was just going to cancel and switch to telus' employee and family plans (which was actually worse, just cheaper). I honestly didn't think they would do anything for me as I still had 15 months left on my old corporate contract. After an hour of talking, I got: 200+100 daytime unlimited evenings and weekends 6pm unlimited texts visual voice mail 1GB data iphone value pack (whatever the hell that is) My 5 Canada HUP iphone 4 for $159 shipped to my home 3 year contract for $64.43 after tax. I probably could have called back and and bargain it down a few more bucks, but at least I got something. |
Have anyone here tried switching from Prepaid to a Rogers Retention plan? Done some search on the Internet. Most people say no..but some managed to do it... |

Prepaid or month to month plans have no weight in getting you a retentions plan. |
