most of the icon you changed will not take effect til you restart the phone ~

is there a way to move the icons around? I want to swap the clock button with my sendpic icon.. Is it possible?

Or restart Springboard. There's a button for that in SMBprefs.
Use Customize. Note that re-ordering icons only works for firmware 1.0.2 at the moment...1.1.1 soon.

Ah, thanks. Actually, it entered my password in wrong (3x..lol) but it still signed in and stuff. Frickin' weird. I tried entering the wrong password for other WiFi that I could detect and it immediately would not let me connect.

it's like that in windows too sometimes it'll let you log on with a wrong password but it'll say this connection have limited or no connection or something like that

Ok, so I'm wanting to upgrade to 1.11..

Are these the correct steps?

1. Revirginize
2. Update to 1.11 via iTunes
3. Jailbreak 1.11
4. Unlock



There seems to be several different methods of reviriginzing though based on how the 1.02 unlock was done.

I bought my phone second hand off someone who bought it off someone else.. so how am I supposed to know which method to use?

use the revirginizer by geek.dll on hofo ~ probably the easiest virginizer available rite now then update to 1.1.1 then use carnival ~

You can use the newest version where you don't have to even use a PC...that one is pretty coool. You can find it on hofo.

The Elite Team's version works fine. If you get a "FW differences found" message then just use the ieraser program.

There's ya go. It's pretty easy and works like a charm. Only if you have an unlocked 1.02 though (I think). Because if you modded it and tried to upgrade to 1.1.1 I don't think it works (but I don't remember, since you have to be able to activate the browers and springboard).

Trying to use ANYSIM1.1. When I try to find the program in ibrickr it only shows v1.02

I downloaded the zip for 1.1 but I can't find what file to upload to iphone. there's no pxl file. Anyone help me out here?

So you're running version 1.1.1 right now? or....?? You virginized your phone and all that stuff right? And now you're saying that you need a method to get AnySIM 1.1 w/o connecting to Wifi via your iPhone, ya?

I've downgraded my phone to 1.0.2 (it came as a 1.1.1).

It's been activated (I think) I just need to get the sim unlocked.

I have downloaded anysim1.1.zip but there's nothing in it ibrickr will recognize to install.

When I browse in ibrickr for the application it only has anysim 1.01 (whatever the old one is)

This is my 2nd iphone to unlock. Mine was the 1.0.2 out of the box so it was easy.
this new one is annoying me.

So you don't have access to WiFi, right?

Edit: N/m, as far as I know, you have to have WiFi to do this unless you're on a Mac. If you are on a Mac, I don't know what to do.

You will know if you have activated the phone or not if you can access Springboard. If you can ping but it still won't connect, you might need to restore and revirginize again.
