Nope that is just a singlet. I use Titan gear. Titan leverbelt, Titan maxrpm wrist and knee wraps. All from LiftingLarge.com

blkgsr 02-16-2012 05:41 PM

tried that low bar, and new leg stance squats today.....so much easier leg wise...ended up having to move the bar higher up as my wrist were killing me trying to hold the bar lower down, still need to work on that bar. but as far as the squat motion and drive with my hip, much much easier

seemed to have stalled on my overhead press though, ended up having to do the "helper" dip and push with my legs for the last couple sets (can't remember what those are refered to)

did 205 DL today (was supposed to do 170)...and this was after about 4 sets working up to that weight....i think i could do two plates on either side next time

i'd like to get a vid up on all my exercises to check my form. i worked in with another guy doing DL's (who's form looked really good) and he commented and mine was looking good as well

so heres a vid i made 2 weeks ago when i was doing a form check. only 3 plates (max is 425)
edit: yes thats a 45lb plate on the outside. for some reason my gym has shorter fatter 45s mixed in as well.

Spoiler!

at the very least it should give you 3 plate challengers something to shoot for

Since it's a form check I'll point out that you are moving the bar forward a bit on the return

Otherwise, to my eyes, that's a pretty damn good looking DL

yea it's harder but much better form wise. tap and go you can totally cheat cuz you can bounce out of it and form starts to progressively get looser and looser

yea that was my impression too

It's national fitness week. The local gymnastics club is hosting a competition with a variety of events to promote fitness competing against the kids. I entered with my gym team for pullups and dips. I managed 25 pullups in 1 minute and 38 dips in 1 minute. I came first place for dips and 4th for pullups. The girl that won was kipping like a crossfit superstar lol she got 36.

Yay RS!

Berz out.

Nice work berz!

I usually reset between 2 reps or so and wasn't sure if that was considered cheating to regrip. Good point prob easier to touch ground and continue. Just wanted to say either way is fine for this challenge.

I find that my deadlift form goes to shit after the 3rd rep or so on heavy weights, so definitely I reset after 3

O RLY? :ilied:

Just remember, it's better to come clean now on your own rather than have someone prove it later... Keep that in mind knowing that I can go view the access logs of RS, and know exactly what browser, device, and IP you're viewing the site from.. if I were so inclined...

Excelsis 02-16-2012 08:10 PM

if i can only take a pic.. lol

i know you've been going heavy for a while. maybe consider a deload week or 2? i thought deloading was bullshit until i did it a month ago or so came back with the wrath of ronnie with my lifting and lifted heavier the week after my deload than the week before.

That's exactly what i'm thinking lol, 9 months of going heavy no breaks 6 days a week has finally caught up to me

RRxtar 02-16-2012 08:27 PM

and you dont have to lose intensity to deload either. you can do a couple weeks of high (like 15) reps. youd be surprized how that transfers over to heavier shit. a couple weeks of high reps and lower weight (like 60%) you may add 2 reps to your low rep heavy lifts.

its interesting how the body responds to changes like that.

Your form is great IMO, I think you have pretty much the perfect body type for deadlifting

That guy is a clown

But it could be that you were being extra good with form for the video, and maybe he spotted you during a lazy effort, who knows
