Remember when I said I was gonna wrap my car today? Um Yea, that didn't happen :okay:,
I wrapped one chrome door handle and then peeled it off because I didn't have a sharp enough knife to cut around this little button on the chrome piece

This is all I got done though but peeled it off

What type of Jeep? If it's a Cherokee you're lucky you installed the hitch after doing the pump and not before.

Its a grand cherokee, it would have sucked even more if i had already put the hitch. It was hard enough trying to get the hitch in there without removing the bumper.

Bought these 250$ 17x7 +45 BBS RK's for the EP3, 1 wheels was mint, 1 had a massive crack and bend in it, and two of them had a bunch of spoke cracks.

Had the wheel straightened, welded up all the cracks and rash, sandblasted them, sanded and filled, and finally painted them in the garage today. Probably 20+ hours of labor in these stupid wheels... but... now at this point it doesn't seem so bad.

I've painted entire vehicles before, my overall impression of using duplicolor wheel paint is that you can get very good results, but the cans tend to create a lot of dry spray. If I painted the wheels in a less dusty area they would have turned out a little better.

Having said all that...

Mid Muffler delete, resonator replaced with a dynomax one. Gained a bit of volume but not obnoxious or ricey. Perfect.

Thumbs up for the guys over at Muffler Man.

What's wrong with it?

Lower Control Arms are shot
Struts are shot
Camber bolts are seized
End links may be done too. Not sure yet.

Might as well rebuild the whole suspension from the ground up. This will take some time and a lot more money

Spent the last few days prepping the FC for a drift day at the track, new brake pads, newer rad, coolant flushes, built a battery tiedown, filled it with 100:1 premix gas:2 stroke oil etc etc etc. Loaded it up and drove for an hour only to have it start overheating 5 minutes from the track.

Cracked the lip, and ripped off one piece of the front splash shield. I managed to take the piece hanging from the car home, but the other piece is still in Oregon LOL.

Time for a new lip! Gonna just ziptie it together until I can afford another one, so drift tyte.

Wrapped some interior pieces in 4d black cf vinyl. Definitely one of the nicer faux cf vinyls...has a nice gloss to it...made the 3M stuff I had on there earlier seem a little dull.

The cold idle is rough! I have upgraded motor/diff mounts on the Miata and it doesn't even come close. Thankfully once it's warmed up you don't really notice the vibration, when you shift it's a lot smoother with the upgraded RMM. Like when you shift at a higher rpm the car isn't as jerky so in some ways it makes the car more comfortable/refined. Have yet to launch the car hard to really feel the effect but I think if you plan on doing power upgrades in the future it's worthwhile.

There's a lot more options out there for FoST though, probably cheaper than Cobb

I did so much over the past few days. Cleaned out the throttle body, FITV and IACV :) No more idle problems and sticky throttle cable. Air seems to run so much smoother now. Bled the coolant afterwards to get rid of any air bubbles that may be hidden in any of the lines.

little videos that I made of me doing it, I probably messed something up though knowing my luck.

They tried EasyOut but they just broke the drill bit and now looks like the bit is stuck in there. The edge of where the bleeder screw goes in is chipped now too :'(

So I had to put my OEM calipers back on but with brand new hawk pads and new OEM bleeder screws.

OEM BBK installed today on my mz3...ms3 front calipers, mz5 rear caliper brackets, dimpled and slotted centric rotors, and Hawk HPS pads. Still have to paint the rear caliper bodies gold to match the new scheme.

The stopping power is impressive!

This was after returning the borrowed spring compressor to Canadian Tire.

well i didn't want to miss part of the summer without lowering the ride,
still half finished currently trying to find a place to paint my 4pce bodykit for the install
without waiting until mid to end of June....sigh

once kit is on i can fix/clean up esthetics(detail booked for tomorrow),
finalize ride height(go lower) throw on the rear spacers,
and dial in the stance but for now it's better than stock wheels and 4x4 height :okay:

swore at it, kicked it, punched it, tried to 'mount' the engine to get a better angle and ended up getting parts of me warm that shouldn't be that warm

eventually changed spark plugs, oil change, air filter and new serpentine belt :fuckthatshit:
