ive had something very similar happen before. This sounds ghetto but it may work as a last ditch effort
if the bolt is sticking out enough get a small blade off a hand saw and cut a line into the top of the bolt. Then get a flat screw driver to get it out.

Got the FC fired today. Too bad I didn't notice the hole in the oil filter. Puked all the oil onto my freshly sealed driveway. New filter and oil, fired again....what's that squealing sound? Oh waterpump is seized. Remove the belt, fire again......sounds gooooooooodddd. New waterpump on the way and then start on tuning before pulling ther drivetrain out.

There are epoxies designed to secure anchor bolts inserted into over sized holes into concrete. There are tolerance ranges, so if you choose to go that route ensure you're within them.
here's an example:
Ramset Australia (http://www.ramset.com.au/Product/Detail/6/ChemSet-Reo-502-)
You could also get a female concrete anchor that will sleeve the hole, taking up the slack and allowing you to re-use what's existing.

Yeah, spacers with build in studs starts at 15mm+.
10mm and 5mm are too thin to have build in studs.
I'll be measuring the exact measurement later today to see how many mm I need and go from there.

Called a concrete guy just to be safe.
(Firm Built, as mentioned by Catalin in VLS/Home Reno)
He checked it out, said the slab wasn't deep enough and that it was at most 2 inches. The lift requires 4 inches min. It's not really something I want to fuck with since it's a safety issue. I don't want it to ever fall on me/car due to a shit install.
He's calling me back with a quote tomorrow, and suggested that he digs 2x2x1, then fills. Sounds reasonable.
Also asked him about putting in a 20x8x1 slab on the side of my driveway, and he said it would be about $1700. So I'm really hoping that the fix on the anchor sites won't be anymore than $500.
This lift better be worth it.

Washed and waxed, decided to take off the license plates like mb_ does. Then went to get gas and more wax from Canadian Tire, and drove about a block before realizing I didn't put the plates back on  I blame you, mb_ lol. Also cleaned the wheels and finalized my headlight adjustment.

Yeah, spacers with build in studs starts at 15mm+.
10mm and 5mm are too thin to have build in studs.
I'll be measuring the exact measurement later today to see how many mm I need and go from there.
Project Kics makes a 10mm with built in studs.

recording is very good, the wide angle is awesome. i had the dash cam running last night parked at home and today during work and it caught alot of wide angle motions then you see the motion come into the camera view.
i did find that the version 2 unit does get pretty warm(hot day today), i dont have the tool to measure how hot but it feels like having a laptop on your lap after using it for an hour or two.
im not too sure what they meant by the unit has a "fan" in it compared to version 1 because i still found it pretty toasty. id hate to imagine how hot the version 1 got.

A lot of Korean websites say that operating temperatures are identical between the two versions.
The difference is how the unit handles the heat.
^test about 4hours dr400g II, test the temperature by temp reader. It showed 35 centidegree. Little lower than the v1. I am kind satisfied with the new version.

When i purchased this car, it had this super dark 5% tint on rear 3 windows...so i took a handheld steamer ($40 at walmart)...steamed up windows at high heat.. began peeling the tint.. the glue would pretty much melt with the heat of the steam and basically rubs right off. would have cost me $150 to get it done at whatever tint shop.
Plan is to tint a bit lighter next spring but this dark stuff look was way too dark for my liking.

yea i think they look pretty good too! maybe with larger spacers it would look better. i am just not used to seeing them sunk inside the fenders. i am loving the rub-free setup, though, and the ride is night and day in terms of comfortability!
i got off work at 9 yesterday and just stayed home, so wasn't me!

Yah, it looks very clean and I believe those are the same wheels on the A5? They look similar to my wheels.

those are the OEM 18" Sport package wheels. If you got that pack too then we probably have the same ones! pain in the ass to clean though ...

Pulled parts out of a 300zx junk yard car to customize into my old nissan. Going to finally have bigger/ vented rear brakes. Decided to go through with fitting s13 full front suspension swap so i can have 5 lug front to match the new 300zx 5 lug rear. Now to order cosworth inner and s13 outer tierods, Stiff rear springs and adjustable perch's. Then finish building the motor

Been trying to turn this hybrid back to stock and sell it, but my mom says she wants to keep it as a spare car for herself to drive for another year (she shares a c300 with my stepdad but on the very rare occasion they drive out separately). Took off most of the mods, and just swapped the black grill for a chrome one yesterday. I don't have the stock hood though... and my mom says she wants to keep the spoiler on the car even though I had found a buyer for it... so now it will look like this more or less for the next year until she wants to sell it  Except the hybrid 15" stockies will go back on once my friend takes his DC5 stockies back, making it look even worse

installed 2013 RDx caliper covers onto TL-S so that the rear somewhat matches the black brembos up front.

Spent the morning trying to break into my own car after I left the keys in the ignition and the car auto locked itself. Wedged the window open and tried to fish the keys out and successfully did so and when I was inches away from pulling them out my window I decided to drop them off the coat hanger hook where they then landed in th crack between the passenger seat and the door. Tried to pick the lock from the inside too but door lock isnt a typical design so failed hard as well. Ended up calling busters and $52 later I have my keys again. Messed up the paint pretty bad on my hard top too but oh we'll I wanted to paint it anyways lulz

I did that last month.
I just wanted to rinse the dust off so I started the car to let the AC run. The doors usually autolock 2 seconds after starting unless they're open but I closed it too soon and they locked right after I shut the door.
I had to rip my visor off to peel the winow out to open the lock, then reprep the door and visor for new 3M tape. Great way to waste an hour.

Old clutch out, it seems the flywheel need to be machined, and clutch pad still got 35-40% thread left.
Anyways, install new Exedy stage 2 clutch with new lightweight flywheel.

if u have a second car or a friend to drive, u can just write down the VIN, bring it to ur dealer and have them create a key for u. Way cheaper than 52 dollars and did i mention its also scratch free on your paint? ;)

That can work sometimes, but if your car is say early 90's then a lot of times dealerships can't cut keys off the vin. They will need the actual cylinder from the car to copy or code a key to cut it. Lets not forget too most dealerships will need insurance papers to shown to prove that you own the car and aren't trying to get a key for someone else's car. In his case either way I doubt he had his insurance papers on him.
I was at my gf's house and didn't have my spares on me. Would've just bussed home to get them but was running on a tight schedule. Oh well.

Lord.. my friends lexus key just broke and its push to start, the dealership said they'd have to get a new chip programmed and ordered in. Whats wrong with a traditional key nowadays? Seems like the safer way to go..

installed some HOEN xenonmatch h11 foglight bulbs to 'somewhat' match the HIDs of the TL-S. Although, in the next few days depending on weather, I'm going to swap them out to my Nokya hyperyellow fogs (for the winter/rainy season) and then switch back to these next spring.

This is not always true; newer cars that have fobs require programming of keys; takes a week. Prices can exceed 400+ dollars.
