I don't hate Luigi, either........ just not a blind supporter. I think he's just overrated. Not his fault or anyone's, for that matter. I don't get the consistency comment, however. How is he consistent? More a reflection of the team's play, me thinks.

Does he make great saves? Yes. Does he steal games? Not always or often. He is not god's gift to goaltending. Anyway, it's a moot point. He's here and here to stay.

I can't stand watchign goalies who just flop... I realize it is high percentage, and the Nucks are at fault for not capitilizing but al he does is do the splits and makes a save. Almost as ridiculous as when Hasek was playing. I guess whatever works

I think hes a great goalie but i do think hes overrated aswell. But maybe we are alil over critical of him especially since we watch him play every single game and see every single mistake he makes. Guys like Rinne and Thomas we dont see them every game.

If we stop and think about the plugs that have been in our lineups the past three years you'll realize how much Luongo has carried this team. Guys like Isbister, Ritchie, Bulis, Smolinksi, Weaver, Pyatt, Brown, Mciver, Cowan, Shannon, Miller, Cooke, Chouinard, Greene, Fitzpatrick, and Coloumbe. I mean that's not even funny, that's just sad. And yet Luongo still managed to lead us to a franchise record and a first round win LAst year. Hes definitely a franchise player that can carry a team.

You can say that about a lot of goaltenders. This is the playoffs and in the playoffs, Luigi has not proven anything yet.
