like everyone else has already pointed out, having BMo on the team would be great with his only down sides being age and lack of grit. having a play maker on the 3rd/4th line would be a great asset.

I watched the game last night and after 4 goals I had enough.
If the Canucks think Schneider is worthy of a backup role this year then they are gonna be sorrily mistaken.
Letting go of Raycroft thinking the Canucks could hand the reigns to Schneider for the backup spot was a huge mistake.
Keeping Raycroft and trading Schneider & Bieska when they had more value would have netted us something decent in the off season.

The only player that really impressed me on the Canucks was Mason Raymond. What a stud. The guy is clearly on the road to becoming the next Pavel Bure. His speed is unreal.
Edmonton kicked our asses. Eberle looked amazing!! Hate Edmonton but I think they picked a gem. Oh and Hall wasn't too shabby either

I know I threw Schneider under the bus my last post and watching the game last night his play was fairly decent. Now if he can start building momentum and gain confidence he might just have a backup role on this team.

Tamebelini had a flashy goal but he's not making the team being on the 4th line.
Alberts really impressed me. Not a fan of his but he's improving ten fold from last year
Raymond can't say enough about this guy. Prediction is 70-80 point season
Samuelson looked deadly and that goal was tic tac toe with Sedins (Swedish Connection!)
Kesler seems to be struggling a bit. Kind of expect more from him
Bieska really pissed off watching him mistake after mistake. Trade him just get it done before his value drops even lower and lower

Burrows is not a captain. We all love the guy, but you need to give your head a shake if you think he'd deserve a C before a guy like Hamhuis. New to the team or not, fact is, he is Captain material. Gillis has left that door open since the beginning. As much as it would piss a lot of fans off (and I'm not saying I would necessarily agree with it, as I agree that Hank or Kes should have honours) I wouldn't be completely shocked if it happens.

i thinking, bolts/rangers/kings

bolts: stamko's had a 50+ goal season, with their additions of gagne and some big names like vinny, malone and st. louis to help out... i think they are gonna do pretty well
rangers: healthy gaborik is scary.
kings: kings defense looks pretty sick. i think brown and kopitar will do pretty well, along with handzus, ponikarovsky, and smith.

LA has a slew of awesome prospects.

They may need another year or two to get there but they are certainly a team that is going to be killer in the foreseeable future.

So far Florida looked to have gotten the better of the trade.
Ballard making tons of mistakes in the pre season. Realistically hasn't looked like a top 4 D
but I will give him some slack because of the hip surgery.

Oreskevich showing he's a big body with very little offensive skill or upside. Reminds me Brad Isbister.

If I could turn back time I would have kept Grabner knowing he would have been a perfect fit with Raymond & Kesler. It was obvious that line had real good chemistry.
