We stayed at the Hyatt Place in Scottsdale, since I work at the Hyatt here I get my complimentary and staff rate. We stayed in Scottsdale, because its in the better part of Arizona and its really close to the Scottsdale Fashion Square(kind of like PC + metrotown, 10min walk from out hotel).

We bought our tickets thru stubhub. Our seats, section 101 row P were $56/ticket.

It depends on what you want to do(just the game, shop, golf, etc.) Glendale(Jobing.com Arena), has nothing to do besides the game. If you are only going there for the yotes game, then stay in downtown Phoenix. You should definitely rent a car down there. As cabbing would be really expensive.

In 2009.10 the 6’3”, 212 lbs. defenceman registered 28 points (9-19-28) in 68 games played. He also collected six points (1-5-6) in 12 playoff games.

In 470 NHL games with the Canucks, the Turku, Finland, native has collected 204 points (62-142-204) and 178 penalty minutes. Salo ranks 33rd all-time in team scoring and is the seventh highest scoring Canucks defenceman. His 40 career power play goals rank first overall amongst Canucks defencemen and his +74 with Vancouver ranks second all-time amongst Canucks blue-liners.

In 665 career NHL games, Salo has collected 273 points (81-192-273) and 228 penalty minutes.

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. -- NHL veteran defenceman Sami Salo, assigned to the Manitoba Moose for a conditioning stint, scored on his fourth shift of tonight's AHL game against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.

Salo, dashing down from his point position, took a pass from Victor Oreskovich and deked Penguins goalie John Curry right out of his crease, then deposited the puck into the vacated cage at 6:18 of the first period, putting the Moose ahead 2-0.

Salo is playing his first game tonight since suffering a torn Achilles tendon last summer. The 12-year NHL defenceman is paired with rookie Yann Sauve.
