The league always goes "oops" to mistakes after the fact and not during the game. Last season, when Van was against Chigago they said that one particular goal didn't count, b/c of goalie interference, a day after the game took place. As I remember that goal was a momentum changer, as Chicago went on to score a few goals after this one. Oops.

“They [the Hawks] were asking for it, but he wouldn’t have missed a game anyway,” said Shick. “The rule was designed to make sure those guys who get no minutes don’t come out at the end of the game and get involved. It wasn’t designed to target guys who play the game.”

It's different during the regular season - the refs have to make those calls in the playoffs.

Obviously it's not a huge deal as it's done with, but hopefully nothing else of this nature happens from here on out.

Though I agree it is annoying to see a repost in this thread I tend to not bother checking in during Canuck games. During games it tends to be 3-5 pages of people giving little updates/cheerleading and nothing of substance. When I check in after the game, if there is a discussion or quotes posted that appear to have originated during the game I will go back through it all to find the context and further responses. Any time I post something like video, I take the time to do a search, and that goes for all of RS.

I think during last years playoffs they continued showing the game that's in ot instead of switching over to the vancouver game, making us watch on the cbc website for the first bit. I can see leaving the game on for most of canada, but for BC they should switch over to the canucks game, would make sense haha.
