Great game. Luongo really bounced back this game.

The only thing that makes me uneasy is the big picture.
We are only 1 win away, and for sure, it'll be the toughest win to get.

We won another nail bitter game, that probably could have gone either way.
Yes, Canucks did play a stronger game than Boston. But one lucky goal from either team could have done it.
It really seemed like it was 60 minutes of OT.

We'll take the win, because the bottom line is, Canucks are one win away from the cup.
But it doesn't seem like Thomas is going to be having any bad nights any time soon, so
if we win it, we're gonna get the ugly goal and and win it 1-0 or 2-1.

Luongo really does have control of this series now. Unless he can let in one or less goal, Canucks will have a tough time winning.

Looking forward to seeing if we can continue this next game now.

I enjoyed today's win, but I'm still not convinced we have solved or cracked Thomas.
A goal's a goal, but we can only get one or two lucky bounces/goals a game.
So like I said earlier, Luongo HAS to stop everything. It makes me uneasy, but at least I'm pretty confident we can still
pull out with the Cup in the end. Iffy feeling about Game 6. Not sure if the bruins fans are in Canucks' heads, or having to change lines first,
bad ice rumour, or whatever will effect them. But pretty sure we got this in Game 7...

Considering the quality of SCF we had last year, I can't even believe the quality of compete both teams have in this year's SCF.

Toews got the extra million because it was a bonus in his personal contract, where if he won the conn smythe he got a 1mil bonus. IF that kind of bonus is in the winners contract they are awarded the amount in their contract for that bonus. So if its 50k, they get 50k and the team has to decide how to deal with the bonus towards the salary cap. I also believe 1mil is the cap for each bonus now not completely sure on that as I do remember them changing it.

People in Vancouver will trash talk you to no end. I mean, any time we're playing the Flames or Oilers or Leafs, I'll be spewing all kinds of trash talk in their fans direction.

But that's really as far as it goes. Trash talk is part of the game and it's part of watching the game. I don't think anyone in Vancouver would get into a fight or spit on kids or whatever just because someone is wearing the opposing team's jersey...especially without much reason. That's just stupid. I was somewhat surprised to see Boston fans were like that.
