Don't forget Toronto. Toronto has 7 Americans on its roster. But then the team's GM is the GM of the USA's Olympic team and the coach is the American team coach so what would you expect.
Buffalo has 8 Americans also

which was one of the main reasons why the Sedins wanted to play in Vancouver over other teams. Parents liked that the Canucks have a good history with Swedes.

It's the only team he has been on in the past 5 years. It woudl be hard on any younger playing finding out you are traded to a different team and country across NA.

That and the majority of NHLers actually love playing for Panthers and Lighting because its an awesome place to live, Florida, weather, beaches, nightlife, no State income tax.

I heard on 1040 this morning that Booth isn't the kind of guy that would be going to the Roxy every night. More of a laid back family guy for being only 26. That being said things can change real quick with Kesler breaking him in.

The way he got moved leaves some questions on future UFA's signing in Vancouver. Granted Sturm didn't play well at all but he never got the opportunity to play with Kesler on the wing. He's pretty choked about getting traded so early in the season.

nah. a player like Sturm doesn't really have much leverage given his past. NTC/NMC are not given out like candy(unless ur JohnFerguson Jr).
Sturm can be upset, but thats it, I dont think he has the privilege to lash out at Vancouver when he couldn't play to potential.
Samuelsson will be interesting to watch in FLA. like many have said, he is most likely trade bait for teams lookin for some experience for the long haul. All part of the rebuilding of the panthers.

Don't know how it happened, but I am firm believer that all players should be wearing visors.
Seriously, if I am a GM of a team I would make it mandatory. Why run the risk of having your player having a eye injury (Malholtra) and potentially costing the team points in the long run? Just wear the visor. Can't play hockey out of one eye.

Don't know how it happened, but I am firm believer that all players should be wearing visors.
Seriously, if I am a GM of a team I would make it mandatory. Why run the risk of having your player having a eye injury (Malholtra) and potentially costing the team points in the long run? Just wear the visor. Can't play hockey out of one eye.
I don't understand why they just don't grandfather the visor rule... I know, the NHLPA has to agree, but why not protect your employees?

i was just thinking the same thing lol. didn't pull lu fast enough :D
but yeah, not all lu's fault. lots of communication problems today and it was booth's first game on 2nd line. they'll need even more time to adjust and play better with each other.
all in all, 2-3 loss is at least a respectable one.

Couldn't call it when they were pressuring in the Edmonton zone. And there wasn't much opportunity before that. You want to save your time out............ sometimes shit doesn't work out.

If you play like shit, the fans are going to abandon you. A lot of people can't seem to understand this... We don't HAVE to like Luongo. If he takes us to the cup, great! If he lets in 3 goals on 14 shots every game, fuck him! Is that "bandwagoning" or common sense?
