Apparently it allows the whisky to chill, but does not expose it to as much ice surface as cubes, which dilute it

To me, I like the way the flavour changes as the ice melts, but this is fun because it slows it down a bit. I'm not snobby about whisky, I just really fucken like it :)

Yeah, the ice maker at home makes the kind of ice cubes that have them holes in it. Cools down drink fast because more surface area.

no there isnt, that is for getting your class 5,if you take the young drivers course or complete a certain amount of hours of driving lessons you get 6 months off your N period so instead of waiting 2 years you wait 1 and a half months to get your class 5

No matter what a stripper tells you when you're shaking a handful of dollar bills at her, chances are she doesn't want you to force oral sex on her. We'd venture further and assume a stripper really doesn't want you to force oral sex on her while she has her period -- but that didn't stop 37-year-old Sarbjit Singh Teja, police say.

Teja was arrested Sunday afternoon after he allegedly sexually assaulted a stripper at Babe's Cabaret in Scottsdale. The stripper, according to court documents obtained by New Times, was on her period at the time.

Teja, who's from Vancouver, was in town for a friend's bachelor party at Babe's. During the party, Teja struck up a conversation with one of the dancers.

Teja told the woman she was beautiful and that he wanted to have sex with her. In an attempt to earn a little cash, the stripper played along -- however, she told Teja she couldn't be with him because she has a son an other responsibilities that would prevent them from having a relationship.

In the middle of Teja's conversation with the stripper, his friends approached him and said they were leaving. Apparently smitten with the dancer, Teja told his buddies he was going to stay at Babe's and would catch up with them later.

The stripper, meanwhile, had gone to the women's bathroom -- and so did Teja once he realized she was gone.

Inside the bathroom, when the stripper left the stall, Teja was standing directly in front of her.

The stripper told Teja he couldn't be in the women's bathroom and that he needed to leave. Teja responded by grabbing her hips, pulling her towards him, and telling her everything would be fine as long as she was quiet.

Teja then put the woman in a bear hug and lifted her onto the sink. He then pulled up her shirt, ripped off her panties, and whipped out his erect penis.

Teja then went down on the victim, despite the fact that she was using a "clearly visible tampon for menstruation control."

The victim later told police she told Teja to stop at least three times, and that she was unable to kick him away because "he was using his body weight to pin her to the counter."

After about four minutes of allegedly forcing oral sex on the menstruating stripper, Teja loosened his grip on the woman and she was able to wiggle away from him and run out of the bathroom.

Once she left the bathroom, security cameras recorded her running from the scene until she collapsed on the floor. About a minute later, Teja also was seen leaving the bathroom.

Teja left before police arrived, but they caught up with him shortly after the assault and placed him under arrest.

In all, Teja was booked into a Maricopa County jail on one count each of kidnapping, sexual assault, and disorderly conduct. He was also hit with two counts of sexual abuse.

Tensions boiled over in January 2010, when members of the rival gangs, some wielding ball-peen hammers, fought outside a Santa Cruz Starbucks.
'It was all about who would be allowed to hang out at the Starbucks downtown,' Santa Cruz Deputy Police Chief Steve Clark said. 'The Vagos brazenly came in and tried to cement their presence. It was a pretty strong play on their part to establish themselves as the premiere club.'
He added: 'Only in Santa Cruz would you have biker wars over who's going to control pumpkin spice lattes.'
Seven months after the Starbucks ambush, violence between the two groups flared again in a gunfight in the northern Arizona town of Chino Valley. that left five people wounded and led to 27 arrests.
The last California biker feud of similar proportions grew out of a 2002 casino riot in Laughlin, Nevada, between the Hells Angels and another group known as the Mongols, Barlowe said. At least three bikers died as a result of that conflict.

At Pettigrew's funeral in California his close friend and sergeant-at-arms of the San Jose chapter, Steven Tausan, 52, was shot and killed by a fellow Hells Angel in an apparent quarrel among club members.
A police source said Tausan and others confronted the accused gunman, Steve Ruiz, over his perceived failure to have protected Pettigrew during the Nugget casino brawl, prompting Ruiz to pull a gun on Tausan.
A group of bikers then pounced on Ruiz as thousands of mourners streamed out of the cemetery, preventing police officers at the funeral from making an arrest, San Jose police spokesman Jose Garcia said.
In the end, it was unclear whether the bikers who descended on Ruiz did so to subdue him, beat him or help him escape, but witnesses said he was whisked away in a car, Garcia said.
Suspecting that Ruiz may have been killed at the scene and his body dumped into Pettigrew's grave, police later obtained a search warrant to dig up the burial site, but they found no trace of Ruiz.
Last week, San Jose police received a tip that Ruiz was alive and hiding out in the northern California city of Stockton, but he was believed to have slipped away after investigators searched a home there.
Garcia said authorities now believe Ruiz is on the run with a current or former girlfriend, noting that he has family and associates in Arizona and New York.

I made the mistake a few weeks back of trying to get to Princess Auto via the one lane bridge by the tracks at the foot of Braid Street. I was on Brunette turning left. There was a long line of cars, because the left turn signal doesn't work if a train is crossing. It was a long ass train, so I waited and waited and........ when it finally passed, the lineup of cars started to move. Two lights later with two more cars to go, I hear a fucking train horn and this time a train heading the other way comes along. Fuck! This train is fucking twice as long as the other one. It took me 35 minutes to get across.......... should have gone on Hwy 1 instead. Fucking Port Mann Bridge construction.

Best way is to go on Hwy 1 and take the exit prior to bridge and turn right and then right again onto United Boulevard. After you're done and you need to get back, they have that short cut to westbound Hwy 1 opened from 2 pm on. So fast. Remember to stay in right lane on Hwy 1 until last possible moment to beat out traffic.

Getting to the Casino is so much faster when coming from westbound on Hwy 1. Not that I go to the Casino that often. BC Gold Card, FTMFW!!!

It's called Gloomy Bear by the artist Mori Chak. The intention was to create an ironic, sarcastic version of "Hello Kitty" and the like by giving it the personality of a real bear. It speaks against the anthropomorphism of animals in culture, etc, blah blah artsy crap.

It kind of 'backfired' in a way, that it became hugely popular in japan a few years ago, and now the guy is a millionaire :fuckthatshit: I just like the message and imagery behind it. I even have a print on my wall from the official store when it still existed, and some figures laying around too.

Kind of ambiguous... did you simply ask him whether "it was ok" to bring back gas in a jerry can, or did you ask him if there would be duties on it?

Because it is "ok" to bring it back, but technically it is subject to a fairly hefty rate of duty if it's not in your gas tank.

I guess it depends on the border agent then... I don't doubt that many turn a blind eye to one jerry can, even though it's technically dutiable.

Many years ago, probably almost a decade ago, I didn't think anything of it and brought a jerry can across to fill it. Coming back, I actually declared I filled up the jerry can, and the border guard told me specifically that it was subject to duties, although he didn't charge me.

Actually all financial institutions are required under the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laudering) and Terrorist Financing Act to determine the source and use of funds for large cash transactions from their clients.

$10,000 or > cash transaction, it is mandatory that a report be completed, information completed on this report include your name, address, phone numbers, ID, SIN, DOB, employment info, source and use of funds and amount deposited.

If someone deposits smaller amounts that total $10,000 or more within a 24 hour period, it is also mandatory for financial institutions to complete a report. Even if you space out your deposits, say $3000 one week, $5000 next week and $1000 a few days later, even if total is under $10,000, the financial institution will likely complete a report.

All suspicious transactions/deposits will be filed to FinTRAC for review and analysis. They will go over your information and accounts and forward to RCMP or CSIS if applicable.

I'm currently rewriting our firms money laundering and anti-terrorism procedures manuals to give to staff.

Even dead deer can pose a danger to Vancouver Island drivers. Saanich police got a bizarre call from a driver Saturday night to say she had run over a deceased buck, and didn't know it.

The woman hit the deer while she was driving her Honda Fit on the Pat Bay highway near Sayward. After striking the deer, the woman's car began making strange noises, but the woman continued home to Cordova Bay before realizing the animal had become wedged underneath her vehicle. Unable to remove the deer, she called Saanich Police who managed to haul the roadkill out from underneath her car.

Police are warning motorists to call authorities if they encounter dead animals on the roadway and to avoid stopping to remove animals from the road.

Here's the deal. If you don't know what I'm trying to do, and are just going to read the box to me, then go away. I can fucking read. I get that the vast majority of their customers are the ones that want to reno their bathrooms, have no clue what they are doing, and think it takes 30 minutes just like tv.

I'm there.

I go in tonight with a special need. The closet flange(hint number one...I called it by the right name) is centered on 11 inches from the wall. The toilets all call for the standard 12 inch flange. So the guy comes and asks if I need help...tell him the scenario. He tells me, yeah, you may have to go special order on one made for a 10 inch flange, these all need 12.

Ok.

I have that one sitting on a flange that is 11 inches from the wall in my laundry room, with a little space to spare. What I need to know is if you have one that is even shorter than that so I don't need to go that close. Tenant moving in tomorrow. They may want to pee.

"well, yeah that one that you already used looks pretty short"

OK. I'll go with that one, as I already know it stands a chance of working, as opposed to others that just may work. Next..there is a stupid ledge off the vanity that goes behind the toilet. A real pain in the ass. Fuck you 1980's design.

"What is the installed height on this thing?" More reading of the box. Well, seeing as the flange measurement was bullshit, I ask if its accurate.

"Oh yeah."

So I climb up on the display and check...and its 3/4" higher. Thankfully is was still within tolerance, but that 3/4" could be the difference between happy bowel movements and me crying in a shitty apartment at 9pm. If you don't know, or you are going to read the box...just say you don't know. But lets take it out and look.

Oh, and I don't want your fucking credit card. Stop asking.

They stopped charging for bags because the law that required charging for bags was only applicable in Toronto, they were just doing it and donating the 5c/per bag to the Home Depot Canada Foundation(Charity)....its a good thing they don't charge for bags anymore

You know...I'm ok with that. As I said, I get that there are people that walk in and need a hand guiding them through the whole purchase. I don't want to sound all high and mighty, but when I have a question, its usually on the technical side-like my toilet. I have very specific specs, and I need specific answers...and they aren't there.

I find it great that there are all kinds of staff, and for the most part they do have knowledge in the field-but half the time I'm in the middle of determining for myself if something is going to work, and I get, "do you need help finding anything?" No man...I need help being left alone to plan out what I need to do to deal with a) some shitty design I inherited, or b) some shitty previous repair that really screwed it up for me in the first place. I don't know, I'd probably bitch that there was never anyone around if I needed help, but it doesn't come across as genuine.

I'm in there enough that I can almost determine the pattern of the speeches in the morning meetings. It was hilarious one day, I went to check out and had a tub, 4 sheets of cement board and some plumbing components. So this chick is cashing me out, and she pauses for a second and starts stumbling a bit with her words and asks something like, "you found everything you were looking for?, did you also need...some....(stalling to think of something)...caulking?"

Honey...if the tub is in the back of my truck, I am very frigging far from needing caulking.

I know, I know...that might spark others to go and run for the caulking that they forgot, but damn, it just stops ringing true after awhile, you know? And you could just tell that when her shift started at 3, there was a big ra ra meeting emphasizing up selling based on the purchase.Here's all I need, "Hi! Did you find everything you were looking for? Don't know if you noticed, but tile is on sale this week if you were holding off" No thanks...I have it. Or Thanks! I'll go take a look.

Oh Home Depot...equally annoying to every other place I buy shit...except my cabinet store. They are awesome to deal with.

I think CTC is even worse. There if you have a question, the 17 year old kid hates you for asking it, and they have those annoying roving mother fuckers that will not take no for an answer on their credit card.

I just tell them I'm in bankruptcy, and thinking about it has ruined my shopping experience.
