Whatsapp backs up your chat to an email automatically every day at 2 or 3am. You can restore your account through there if you put your email in and it should restore to the last back up?

Settings > Chats > Chat Back up

I manually changed my back up settings to monthly because i dont care about maintaining chats lol. But i think default should be daily or weekly.

My girlfriend struck up a conversation with one of them at the Sky Train station a few months back. Turns out many of them are sent up here from Salt Lake City, Utah. They work for a few months, and head home, and a new group comes up. Very strange that Mormons have the capital to conduct such a campaign in various cities.

I just went to Salt Lake City last month and their organization is run like a corporation. They've got a huge shiny office building in the middle of SLC, not to mention they own blocks of the downtown core. Their Temple Square is like a Mormon theme park where girls (yes all teenage - 20ish girls) stand around and strike up conversations with anyone that walks by.

We took a 1/2 hour tour of Brigham Young's house with a two of these guides - one was from Korea and the other from Virginia. At the end of the tour they did the hard sell with Mormonism and offered us a free Book of Mormon. We just said...err no thanks we don't believe in God and headed out on our way. :fullofwin:

A bit scary but mostly harmless as far as I can tell. Most of them are just young and impressionable I suppose.

Give CIC a call, they are quite helpful although getting to an actual person is a pain.

And for the future, keep a copy of it somewhere. I keep scans of all important docs on dropbox and also certified true copies of things that I use often (my son's birth certificate for example) but I don't want to lose them.

It's very time consuming........ I can't believe I used to make the tamago in a round pan, because the square ones were expensive and very hard to get decades ago. I look at the ones that are sold frozen and ready made. So many burnt layers, lol. Mine are solid colour all the way through (well mostly). Nice yellow colour from Born 3 eggs, ftw! Years and years of practice and multiple fails, lol. Notice the square pan has no handle? Lost it a couple of years ago. Now have to make one on a wood lathe.

It's been a while since I've had to rip a DVD so some of my info might be outdated now. I used to use an app called DVDFab Decrypter. It could also compress the video to fit on a DVD5 if you didn't have a DVD9. As for media types (DVD+R vs DVD-R), it generally doesn't matter but you probably want a higher quality disc if you want it readable in most players.

A double sided DVD might be a bit more of a pain to use (because you'd have to flip the disc) but if that's all you have, you might as well just use it rather than go out and buy another spindle of discs. Try DVDFab and compress it to fit on a single DVD5 if you've got more of those. Since it's not HD quality content, I double most people would notice the difference.

In September 2017, ICBC announced that additional optional rate changes may be needed in 2018 and would be implemented on a quarterly basis.

As previously announced, quarterly increases will be an average of 2.2%, to a maximum of 9.6% for the year. Individual policy rates will depend on the age of the vehicle, value and use of a vehicle, and where it is being driven. For an average driver, this is an annual blended increase between basic and optional of 8%, or $130.

Some customers with policies renewing in early February 2018 have received renewal reminders which include a quote for optional Third Party Liability (TPL) coverage that is different from what is showing in ICBC systems. These renewal reminders do not include the optional rate adjustment which will take effect for TPL on February 1, 2018.

The correct rates are in ICBC systems and policies issued (APV250s) have correct premiums. Renewal reminders effective February 11 forward are being generated with correct premiums.

We appreciate this may result in more questions from customers and have prepared some points to help with those conversations.
•Your renewal reminder from ICBC is an estimate.
•It may also not include recent rate changes.
•Final pricing is confirmed when you come in to renew since there can be changes to coverage or drivers.
•There have been recent changes to optional rates. Each customer will be affected differently depending on the level of optional coverage you purchase and other factors used to set premiums.

I've now called them (pur-oh-later) three times. I'll just cancel this one, order another one and get it for 10% less. I hope this happens over and over again so I can get the item for free, gulolol. Most clocks on electronic devices change on their own, but it's a bit of a pain when you have pesky analog clocks and non-GPS/wireless enabled digital clocks and watches to deal with, but the benefits far outweigh the tiny, tiny bit of inconvenience caused by having to reset clocks.

There ARE MotoRex imported R33/34 legal in the US. But it was more like a pardon to MotoRex screwup and avoid further legal problem with those owners who got a R33/34 prior to the Motorex downfall if these guys were crazy enough to pay the premium for the right to own R33/34, they would take US custom to court if they decide otherwise.

He bought a R34 NISMO in Japan, took it apart down to pieces, imported everything and hired/flew a group of NISMO technicians (I think a group of 3 people) and basically put the car back together in one piece.

A very costly loophole to go through with... but when one has more money than brain, they do whatever the fuck they want. :D

I used to cross the border and go to Washington to go down to the silver reef/skajit casino years ago with a friend at night to waste time on nights we had nothing to do. I usually just ignore it, but just yesterday I was getting on the train in rush hour, and there is a nice line formed, as there usually is. These two kids, maybe ~16yo, were at least 10 people deep into the line, so as soon as the doors open, they literally step out of the line and dash straight into the train, cutting everyone else off and forcing their way passed even the people who are still trying to get off. For those in HVAC, I got a quick question with my water heater.

Came home to find out that the hot water is not working. I check the water heater and the pilot light and burner fire is off.

I can get the pilot light on no problem (takes a couple tries sometimes) and it stays on. But the moment I turn the temperature dial to let more gas through, the burner fire grows and then subsequently dies taking out the pilot with it.

I did some reading on thermalcoupler, but I think that's only an issue if the pilot light doesn't ignite.

Manual says that when the pilot lights, but burner will not stay lit, that the combustion shutoff system has been tripped and to contact a qualified service technician.

The air intake vents are non-obstructed, so I think that's ok. I took out the burner and found that it was quite rusted with flakes on top. I did some research and it seems to be due to condensation. Cleaned it thoroughly and vacuumed the other flakes inside and it the burner still doesn't stay on.

Do you think that this is possible to fix by myself? I'm going to Home Depot tomorrow to check, but I think I might end up buying a new one. I found out that it was installed in 08/2006 so it's getting there.

We ended up turning it back on today, but there was a strong gas smell.

Fortis came by and there was no leak around the water heater, just a small leak from the furnace beside it. He said we didn't know about it for years, so that wasn't likely the cause.

The guy thinks something is dead nearby or in the vents because it's not the smell of gas. Possibly mice? Never had an issue with them before so this is surprising.

I'm not sure if there is a drain under the water heater, maybe sewer gas is coming up from there? Might explain why the heater was going off as well?

I'll probably switch the water heater out in a couple of days since it's not an urgent issue and ask the installers.

My friend literally beat the piss out of Connor Howell and it was one of the greatest things to happen in high school.

I’m from the town next to his hometown , Oakton,VA. Connor has a fucking MOUTH on him like you wouldn’t believe. I’m not even talking about cursing, I’m talking about verbally abusing girls not directly involved in his clique for absolutely no reason. This kid was simply NOTORIOUS for being a scrawny shit-talker. He knew that several of his good friends were physical beasts (all-state football players) so no one in his school would say anything to him.

New Year’s Eve 2011 was the first time I met him in person while we were in 11th grade at a large house party in NOVA. I went with several of my friends who happened to also be my teammates for basketball and lacrosse. One of my buddies was dating an ethnically Persian girl at the time who accompanied us to the party.

We walk through the door, meet and greet the owners and proceed to the kitchen to enjoy ourselves. Connor is the typical party douchebag, laughing over-enthusiastically to cover for his condescending remarks. Things were actually going decent for a while. We were all moderately aware about his reputation so we were slightly on edge but we’re having a good time until he asked if my buddy’s girlfriend if she flew in on a magic carpet.

It was over in less than 10 seconds. My buddy was 6’2 and must have been weighing 210 lbs. at the time. I don’t think Connor has ever been over 165 lbs in life. My friend hit Connor with a nasty hook so hard that his skull dented the drywall. My buddy then picked both his legs up and pile drives him into the hardwood floors with immediate quickness before delivering at least 3 blows to Connors head that bounced his head off the ground. At this point everyone in the party was looking. He lied there unconscious and began to piss himself while wearing dark grey pants. Kid must’ve had like 20 beers beforehand because there was piss everywhere.

My buddy and his girl leave while the rest of us stayed to see the results. Needless to say, his clique were all running there mouths in similar fashion as Conner. We leave, laugh about it and generally have a good time the rest of the night.

TL;DR: I personally know Connor Howell from highshcool. He is genuinely a terrible person with little to no remorse for his actions. In 2011, my friend punched Connor so hard in the mouth that he pissed himself in front of dozens of people.

I've been a few times and it's interesting to see the amount of stolen goods that were never recovered, as well as the amount of random things they end up selling lol. Bags of what seem to be like someone took a hand basket into London Drugs and filled it up with toothpaste, brushes, razors, etc and just ran out the door with it. Power tools stolen from construction sites, Kitchenaid products stolen off shelves, jewlery, and apparently there's a Victoria Beckham blouse that has a value of up to 15,000$

Perhaps I may find a nice simple bike I can use to get some summer exercise.

Took a Mk7.5 Golf R for a test drive this weekend and at the end of it started talking numbers. I spec'd out an identical one online when I got home to see what kind of deal they were offering compared to what vw.ca says and they wanted $60 more per month (after me haggling a bit) so I asked what the reason was for the difference and they said that vw.ca doesn't factor in markup. WTF?

Golf R's are not a limited production car, is this dealer being greasy or is this the norm for dealers? I've never done a deal on a brand new car so maybe I'm missing something but i always thought you only saw markup on cars that were in high demand. This dealer had 5 on the lot.
