If memory serves me correctly it coincided closely to the rebranding of the stores. The chicken definitely felt a bit different for some time but the biggest difference is that the Filipinos just run the place more efficiently than the EI's do imo.

My understanding is Costco doesn't care. Return/reverse logistics costs are charged back to the supplier apparently. If you supply Costco, and your product sells through with minimal returns, you're good. But if not, you're hooped.

Edit: My go-to has always been Brighouse Starters and Alternators (http://www.brighouse.net/) Fast turnaround and reasonable price. Disclaimer: I have not used them in over a decade, so shop around. Call them or drop by in person.

Others will recommend Edmond's Alternator and Starters but I personally have never used them. Let us know how it goes!

Arthur Laing is always congested as many lanes squeeze into 2 on the bridge, people going shopping at McArthur Glen. Whoever decided to put an outlet mall in the same route as going to the airport, I'll never know.

And Knight street is getting congested prob because of the above reasons but it is always congested. Going northbound, starts at like 2:30 pm. It's becoming like North shore busy. I always try to get on Knight street going NB at the latest possible exit which means bridgeport but you gotta hit it from the north entry of Bridgeport, not the south.

What worked for me when i drove shitboxes was using water ONLY, plus a rag, on all the windows. Then wipe off with a dry rag. This gets all the residue off and worked quite well for a few months until you need to do it again. + Never using the AC during winter.

They also sell anto-fog cream you can apply, but i dont recall the effectiveness of it.

My main gripe with alot of cars, especially new cars, is if you turn on the front windshield defog mode, AC always turns on, and if you have a real piece of shit car like my C7, you cant turn it off, at all. This also applies to the "foot" airflow selection as it has to dump 50% of it to the windshield.

The idea from manufacturers in front windshield mode, is to defog it quickly with AC, which it does. But on the flip side, as soon as you hit body airflow mode, the ac shuts off > then dumps all that condensate it just collected back into your car.

If your car windows are properly cleaned/dried, and you dont have holes in your roof, there is 0 reason to run AC in winter, which causes more issues than it solves.

My E250 also had this issue, except at least i could hit the AC button to turn it off right away.

What was even more weird was the caller had the thickest American accent I've ever heard. So, before he got a chance to ask me questions, I asked him if he's from Texas, lol. Turns out, he's calling from Virginia. I then asked why the hell he's calling someone in Canada asking about British Columbia. Is it the current government, the opposition, etc. He couldn't answer because it all has to be unbiased. After a few more questions, he just gave up and said good bye. I searched for Cido Research and it has some affiliation with China (HK). I'm not going to answer questions until I know a bit more about the caller.

I went before they got their Michelin star and it was still is one of my favourite meals. Crazy to see how expensive it's gotten though - my tasting menu was $80 at the time for 9 courses.

The drinks are like minimum 20 dollars a pop so that added up quickly even though I don’t drink booze, my wife does, so it got pricey.

I recently did the chef's tasting menu at l'abbatoir myself, was pretty solid except I was wildly let down by the main protein course if ribeye. The rest of it was fantastic.

Once every few months I'll find myself on an in office day after work and my wife has her own dinner plans, I'll go treat myself by going to Mackenzie Room and having a full on meal myself at the bar. This time around I was too lazy to go all the way out to Pigeon Park so decided L'abbatoir was closer.

If you can swing it, I highly recommend dining alone at the bar at a nice place, getting to chat with the bartender or other solo diners, you never know who you might meet, it's really fun.

Oftentimes you can even get into a normally really difficult reservation by dropping in solo, because they can just shove you into the corner of the bar and get another cover's worth of sales.

BC Ferries is gently increasing the percentage of spots that can be reserved as well so it's getting harder and harder to just drive on. Years ago I spoke with a project manager at BC Ferries who said they were working on going to reservations as the default way to book (and people who didn't reserve would be charged more). That was 7-8 years ago and I've seen nothing on that so I bet they decided there was too much money to be made selling reservations so they killed that project.

I think what Covid has really taught us was always be prepped.

Ever since Covid, I got a backup generator as well as an Ecoflow battery when they were on sale just so that in the worst case scenario, I could at least keep some light and fridges around the house going for a few days.

Never thought about getting them... but you cannot be too careful.

As far as food and water goes, I've got anywhere between 5-14days worth of food depending on whether I ration or not.

I attach it to any one of my Milwaukee cordless drills and it gets the job done. It comes with a pad, but they have more grits for different stages and jobs.

I got mine from Canadian Tire during their mega sale event. Stacked offers and used my Canadian Tire Money. Paid nothing. I think they're about $80? It's a 4 inch, so perfect for smaller surfaces like headlights. Pillars, even better, methinks.

It all depends on where you hit. But the idea is more to trap it somehow and finish it with pistol rather than just shooting directly with pistols.

Either way... if they are hit in the torso... from my own experience, regardless what kind of bullets... maybe a few hundred feet but not more than that. The internal breeding wreck havoc very quick.
