Does anyone have experience regarding credit card debt?
I just found out that a friend of ours has about $50k in credit card debt on multiple credit cards.
What would be the options for them? I've heard consumer proposal and consolidation are some options, just seeing if you guys can help me narrow it down faster.
The thought of him paying 22% interest hurts my soul.
Or if you have a guy in the debt field, if you could send me his contact info. I want to try and get them on the right track asap.
I know someone like this, they chose to ignore it. I believe a card went into collections. I don’t know what will happen since they own a condo.

Having dealt with the port strike earlier this year, and with an election coming up next year, you'd think Turd might have learned a thing or two from the last incident, and make an effort to score some political points. But so far, it seems like he isn't even trying to make an effort to win that next election.

Latest news about the Labour Minister imposing binding arbitration to end the rail dispute. MacKinnon said that he would impose back to work legislation if work stoppage continues beyond the binding arbitration.
Global News:
The federal government will intervene to try and bring an end to the labour dispute that brought Canada’s rail network to a grinding halt Thursday, Labour Minister Steve MacKinnon said.
Speaking in Ottawa less than 24 hours after thousands of unionized workers at the country’s two main railway companies were locked out, McKinnon said he will use his powers under the Canada Labour Code to “secure industrial peace” and impose final, binding arbitration.
The minister said the action will help Canadian National Railway (CN), Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) and the Teamsters Canada Railway Conference (TCRC) union settle outstanding terms in their negotiations for a new collective agreement that he said have reached a “fundamental impasse.”
“These collective bargaining negotiations belong to CN Rail, CPKC and TCRC alone – but their effects, and the impacts of the current impasse, are being borne by all Canadians,” MacKinnon told reporters.
He said he has also directed the Canada Industrial Relations Board to extend the term of the current collective agreement until a deal is reached, and for rail operations to resume as soon as that is achieved.
Asked if he would impose back-to-work legislation if the work stoppage continues despite the binding arbitration, with reporters referencing the recent example of the WestJet strike, MacKinnon said he would.

Elliot heading south from 33rd is pretty bad. It throws the X5 around a lot.
They've been steadily fixing sections of Victoria Drive. There was a HUGE bump southbound right lane at 44 that was recently fixed, and a huge dip southbound 58th that was fixed a few months ago.
A lot of the big bumps or dips that go right across the road are due to shitty contractors that house builders hire. They dig up the road for the piping but don't fill it properly.

Funny story from maybe last year or the year before, esp for those who are familiar with the Fraserview area (where at least a few of us live in).
For years on end, the roads around Bobolink Park were really, really shxtty, esp along Muirfield Drive. The whole stretch basically looked like the picture shown below. And Muirfield is a bus route too (29th bus, I think?), so I have always been surprised by how CoV didn't bother repaving it.
For some reason, my kid took on a liking to play at Bobolink Park at the time, and we started going there more frequently. But I was really, really annoyed by how shxtty the roads were. So one time I got really fed up, and took pictures of the whole stretch of Muirfield, and sent the pictures off to CoV Civil Engineering / Road Maintenance via email, and asked them to plan for repaving the road since it was part of a bus route. I really wasn't expecting anything, but a few months down the road, one time when we went to Bobolink Park again, we noticed Muirfield was being repaved!
It was a total surprise, and I certainly have no intention to take any credit for the roadwork that happened. But the incident made me think that at least some parts of the municipal gov is still working and responding to public conerns.

They repaved a significant amount of roads in the area, but the crew got lazy and did not repave the other speed bumps, so the new pavement ends right before the old speedbump. What happens now is everything is about 2" higher until the speedbump, which starts 2" lower, your car dips and then climbs the bump and it throws the whole thing like crazy unless you are doing 5

This street is wild because if you're travelling to east van from Richmond via Knight St Bridge northbound, Google Maps literally sends you down this street (vs 57th). I've ended up on it and then was like wtf i'll never take this route again. Turning left to Argyle is bad enough without a light, never mind the potholes.

Richmond has way less traffic though so their roads last way longer - I'd be surprised if any arterial in Richmond other than Alderbridge gets similar traffic to a Vancouver arterial much less the secondary roads.
If you want bad you should visit Burnaby - it's not so much road conditions but road infrastructure. Lack of sidewalks, crosswalks, streetlights, and any form of traffic calming.

Is Toronto the worst traffic in the world?
A new study has found Toronto has the third worst traffic congestion in the world, beaten only by London, England and Dublin, Ireland.
I guess it depends how the study was done. All studies/data can be manipulated in a way to tell a different story. This is old now but I recall reading about a study done with traffic and Vancouver was rated pretty high and the way they defined bad was how long it took based on the distance you travel. While generally speaking people would say Toronto traffic is way worse than Vancouver (I can't say first hand) one could argue Vancouver is worse within the City how long it might even take you to travel say 10 km within City limits.
I hate traffic just as much as the next person but it sort of is what it is. Unless I have zero control when and where I need to go I generally will chose more optimal times to get somewhere to avoid it all or as little as I can. I always wonder why my wife doesn't do the same. We're complete opposites when it comes to most things. I'm the type that would rather wake my ass up early and go somewhere when they open first thing to avoid as much vehicle and people traffic as possible. She would rather sleep in be lazy throughout the day and then choose to run the same errand in the afternoon and often bumps up into afternoon rush hour on the way back then complain but it's like you made the choice yourself lol. :awwyeah:

Delta might be and is a better comparison. I'm not sure of the actual statistic, but Nordel should have several thousands of daily trucker and commuter traffic. Yet as soon as a pothole appears on Nordel or anywhere on the 91/17/Alex Fraser interchange, it gets filled by the time I come home from work (~4pm).

It already sounds doomed to fail and ESPECIALLY if he's dumb enough to do all of this without a prenup. Come to think of it, have him discuss that exact topic with her before popping the question. She'll bounce right quick lol. He can buy us all drinks later when he comes to his damn senses.

I did a little mini food tour for my family while they were in town
Admiralty Centre:
Kam Ho (beef brisket noodle, zha jeung noodle)
Lao Wei Dao (XLB and Pan fried buns)
RPM:
Hei Hei Rice Noodles (got the beef and prawn one)
Peanuts BBT
Taiwanese stinky tofu (admittedly too strong for my tastes lol)
HK BBQ master:
BBQ pork, roasted pork, roasted duck on rice
Aberdeen food court:
literally just look around because we had way too much food already lol
Overall, I think they enjoyed everything. Much better than your standard brunch/lunch at a single place experience. Richmond has long been known as a food city and especially so when it comes to asian foods.

Went to Parallel 49 last night, 3 drinks and a Pretzel, $65

Remember when it was $7? And if it was your first job there was training wages for the first 200 or something hours lol. I remember losing a toonie and it was like 15min of min wage lol
$10pho and $5 extra value meal aint coming back
p49 used to be only $3 for a beer 12 years ago when they first opened. those were the days. even in that time i remember thinking how insanely cheap that was, other bars were charging like $5-6 already. now there is way more competition yet craft beer is like $9 everywhere.

Cheapest cars in Canada that you can buy today - which one of these would you actually recommend to a friend or would be willing to own? Base models only.
I've never driven them but I don't think I would be embarrassed to drive a Kia Rio or Kia Soul around. They seem like a lot of car for the money.

1) I don't recommend anything pre 2017 anymore because of crash safety improvements.
2) Need to consider gas and insurance - Hyundai/Kia/Nissan owners in US aren't kind to their cars so rates are $$
3) Kia does'nt sell Rio anymore, Forte/Soul IVTs have problems; 40k after 5 years of gas.
4) Hyundai Kona is 41k after incentive, 8 year EV warranty would be my pick. Free charging if you park downtown/Whistler/UBC makes parking "free".
5) Escape Hybrid (25k CAD, uses Toyota system), 2nd gen Prius Prime (20k CAD), or Ford Fusion Hybrid would be my other pick. Import a 2019+ ES300h (30k CAD) from the states if you must.
one thing i've learned with my 2013 sonata, while hyundai cars are a great deal, their OEM parts aren't cheap, and cost more than say hondas i've owned in the past.

Interesting. I did not know that.
How does service cost compare to the typical Honda/Toyota etc?
i mean i don't drive very much and much less these days with a hybrid work scenario... but similar, just do oil changes, brakes/tires when needed, change out whatever is going ... nothing terrible. though i know people with various horror stories like burning oil, 1 of my coworkers with a santa fe had to get the engine replaced ... fortunately i haven't had that happen.
mind you i also owned a v6 auto accord where the tranny blew up on me with only 70k kms on it so it can't get much worse than that i hope :lol :okay:

Agreed with this. Good value, the chicken is nicely seasoned and garlicky, but it is very very greasy. When it's hot and fresh you can't tell but when you eat it as leftovers or reheat you can tell.
Maybe that's how they get it to stay crunchy even as leftovers.

I'm not accusing you (or all restaurants of doing this) but for sure some businesses out there have been doing exactly as I've described. Tipping culture is also at ridiculous new heights. All of this combined is more than enough reason for people on tight budgets to completely skip going out for meals or perhaps limiting that to 1-2 times per month at most.
I've been a loyal customer of many restaurants in the Richmond area and have literally seen them only increase their prices by $1-$2 over the course of a year or so. It makes it harder to understand when you see $5-$15 increases over the same period of time for others. My last meal at Fat Burger was nearly $30 for just a burger, fries and a fountain drink for example.
Anyone watch Chestnut vs Kobayashi. What a match.

tipflation is definitely something that bothers me. getting prompted to tip 18% when i had to walk up to the window and order for myself is just silly. i even got prompted to tip 15% when i bought $60 worth of hot sauces at lucifers. i understand you can just tip 0% in these situations but it's crazy that you even have to do that.

T&T Fried chicken ... yah, hard to get a whole chicken for less than $12.00 and for them to cook it, ready to eat. On paper right there, great value. Not Costco value but for Fried Chicken ... now I gotta try.
Tipflation, yah, I've resorted to no tipping when I go to coffee shop and all I get is a coffee or a muffin. If there is actual 'service' at sit down places, then yes ... and don't be fooled by the 15% or 18% number, that is on the total including the 5% tax. WTH has to tip 15% on the tax portion going to the government.
I too am a cheap Chinaman and usually don't tip on takeout orders but if it's a place we go to regularly I will add in an extra $1-2 on occasion depending on order size

MLE Major league eating wants competitors to sign exclusivity deals with them so the only compete in MLE events. Kobayashi left because he wanted to be able to compete in other events outside MLE including events in Japan. Chestnut signed a deal with impossible foods and MLE got made because they have a deal with Nathans. Chestnut was ok with eating Nathans dogs at the comp. They had meat dogs at the comp on netflix.

My last meal at Fat Burger was nearly $30 for just a burger, fries and a fountain drink for example.
Fast food places and large chains, yes, they are totally price gouging to pay for 50 million dollar pay packages for their CEOs, but I can give you loads of examples of the price increases with numbers for important food staples in regular restaurants since 2020
Olive oil $7/L > $17/L
Flat irons 16.99/kg > 31.99/kg
Halibut $25/kg>39/kg
Chicken wings $80/case > $200/case
Canola oil 16/jug > 36/jug (Peaked at 65/jug)
The costs are fucking crazy and the increases truthfully aren't nearly enough at restaurants. That's not including the labour costs of $13.85 > $16.88 (which I still believe should be way more, but that's why we tip, because if we didn't we'd be paying good servers $30-$35 an hour and charging 30% more on the menu to offset the cost, which again I'd totally prefer because tipping culture is bullshit)
It's worth noting that a lot of businesses in Richmond (or Iranian businesses in North van) owned by immigrant families are willing to operate at a loss as an easier path to Canadian citizenship. If you can stay open for 5 years and employ a certain amount of current residents it's near guaranteed you will be approved for PR/citizenship. It's a great way for people with some wealth to essentially fund their way to approval.

At the same time if this prices out the services, I would believe we would get a fuck ton less congestion on the roads. Half of these rideshare drivers can't drive worth shit and they don't know their way around the city and don't know the rules.
The doordash/ubereats/instacart workers are just as bad as it's "convenient" for them to just pull over and stop anywhere for them even if it says no stopping. Personally, I don't know why these food delivery platforms haven't folded yet. None of the platforms are making any money. The restaurants are losing money from these sales too, since they need to give a cut to the platform. The delivery drivers are barely making anything to make ends meet.
Consumers seem to be the only ones reaping any benefits.

I find it's rarely just $2-4 more. If there are no discounts then it's delivery costs plus tipping. They also like to lump a few deliveries together so your food isn't as fresh as say picking it up yourself.
True I can get take out from a place in DT without actually going to DT, but I can just as well just cook at home and be healthier.

alright, I'm not a delivery app expert, but I will say this:
1) Some CC's or even Prime membership will give you free trial or membership to each respective app's premium tier, which would either reduce or eliminate delivery fees
2) Some stores, though rare, do not charge a mark up in their app prices versus b&m pricing
3) There are usually promo codes that the apps will give out, which would effectively make any delivery/fee almost 0, especially when combined with #1 or 2.
So believe me when I say that I would only order when it's $2-$4 more, including tip, or in some cases when Uber Eats has a promo, almost free delivery or even cheaper net net of fees/markup/discounts.

Given the strong celebrity endorsement / high budget commercials, I'd say the only ones profiting are the platforms themselves.
We're so close to replicating the humans in Wall-E at this point.
The amount of times I've seen delivered McDonald's bags outside my condo, my first thought is always 'those fries are icicles now, dogg'.

Two times that I order from Uber:
1 - When restaurants offer 2 for 1 ... and then Uber has 40% off promo. Stack the promos and then it's actually worth it.
2. When Uber has 2 for 1 and you go pick up so no BS additional fee, no delivery fee, no tip necessary.

i rarely use those apps. if friends are over and i don't want to waste my time driving to pick up food, then i just use them. if you order somethign that's normally $40, now it's $65 after the apps fee, food markup, delivery charge, and tip.

alright, I'm not a delivery app expert, but I will say this:
Whenever I get the 30% off coupons I'll order from Congee Noodle King multiple times. I haven't actually compared to their regular menu but judging by the prices I don't think they actually mark it up at all. I always end up getting 2 fried rices + 2 congees + 1 Hk cold milk tea and after fees and tip it's $45 flat won't complain that's a deal now a days

It's not al TFW... my best friend's bro in law delivers food at night... he was doing it when he lived in Vancouver (Surrey) for awhile to supplement his income and now he does it in Calgary. Insurance by day, uber eats by night.
I ran into him when he was in Van for a couple years and he told me he has to commute to Vancouver first and then turn on his app because the density just isn't there outside the lower mainland... but he said he was sometimes making $500-600 a week working just in the evenings for a few hours.

how do you mean? PP is $12 dine in and $12 take out.
Prior to Covid you could get 10% off for all takeout orders including the PP. The discount these days is no longer applicable to PP and is limited to 'new accounts' only. The PP was 6$ before 20% off about 10 years ago.

+1 for never using delivery especially 3rd party apps. But tipping on take out is a thing and sadly I’ve accepted it. I'm a creature of habit and I only frequent a handful of places (mom and pops mostly) for takeout. I like the food, good service, no mistakes, because they know me as a regular they give a generous serving and occasional freebie. Boom! Automatic 15%. For restaurants I less frequent (mostly big chains) I just round up. Unless they’re a flirty little thing then Boom, 15%. Hahaha I’m a simple man.

Yeah, no kidding. I was browsing fine dining restaurants in Seattle (stuff comparable to the Botanist, Boulevard, Cioppino's type) and it's 30-50% more money for about the same kind of food/experience and that's before tipping.
While I'm still a bit taken aback when I see burger and fries (or similar) for $20 here it's still a better deal than in the US. After conversion it's even crazier.

Seattle has been awesome every time I've gone, but it's always for a specific activity. I stay in the same hotel, go to the same 3 venues and same 3 bars.
It is pretty pricey but you literally can not touch the Seattle music scene. Maybe Nashville or Austin are the only other options near it but that's a lot more money and time to get there.

Isn't Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary on Westham Island the place to go for local bird watching?
I love watching and interacting with the sandhill cranes. As long as it isn't nesting season, they are super gentle and graceful.
i have the cheapest celestron monocular that i sometimes take hiking with me. it's shakey af, really hard to spot anything with, and has horrible optics, but it's still good as a starter since it's so cheap, and can get you into the hobby to see if you actually enjoy doing it at all. for like $20 i think it's still pretty decent to get your foot in the door.
asian food in the states is so crap compared to what we have here other than some exceptions (viet or korean food in LA)
went to bellingham and had viet food. place is called soy house which is already sus in itself, it should be like pho ngoc thuy or at least pho saigon, not 'soy house'.
not an asian server in sight, all white girls and a few mixed looking people. service by a white girl was way over the top friendly and engaging... i prefer someone to just come and not even make eye contact and scribble a few things on their notepad and go away. got checked up on too many times during dinner to ask how things are tasting and if i needed more water, etc..
bill comes $21 per bowl, plus 20% tip and now i've just paid $70 CAD for two bowls of mid tasting veggie pho.
when people come to vancouver on holiday they must think shit is so crazy cheap here

The joke I hear is that when a man turns 40 they either get really into WW2 or into smoking meats. I chose the latter.
I got into Napoleonic warfare. Tabletop gaming. Hand painted everything from scratch (Airfix HO scale) I had every regiment that participated in the Battle of Waterloo. Everything from the Swiss Militia to Prussian Lancers. Lots of modifications since a lot of the regiments, especially cavalry, were not available from Airfix back then. Head dress, helmets, etc. Flags and banners made from toothpaste tubes, 'cause back then they were made from light metal (very flexible and easy to paint), not plastic like they are now.
Then dropped that altogether and got into WWII stuff, in particular, 1/32 scale, German Armour and 1/350 IJN ships.
I do have quite a few cast micro amour pieces. Again, for tabletop gaming. I remember soaking the pieces in vinegar to allow primer and paint to stick to the metal (releasing agent?). Disintegrated some because I left them soaking in vinegar for way too long.
I got into Gundam models for a while. I have enough hobbies and interests to last me three lifetimes. My lifetime hobby has, and always will be, philately. Started when I was in elementary school.

It's become almost entirely about the camera the last 5-7 years - if photos matter to you the advances in the camera tech are really impressive. Beyond that a lot of people can go 5 years without an upgrade just fine.

But it’s all coming SOOooooNnnnn. I hate it when they release these half baked bullshit products. Use case scenarios are also kinda lame for their so called AI.
There’s gonna be that one weirdo who has a full on conversation with Siri now at the mall / bus stop / workplace. Nobody needs to hear that shit you goof
Next Stock and Noob Meets will be all done via AI. None of us will meet in person. :alone:

The camera barely changed in the 16 pro. They only added a 48mb ultra wide sensor. That ultra wide isn’t something I use everyday but I guess it’s okay. Why didn’t they just add the same sensor to the 5x telephoto as well ? (Probably saving it for the 17pro)
i still have my XS, 6 year old phone.
i find the camera to be fine except i wish it had a wider lens. also this phone doesnt even have magsafe which i think i would like. other than that, it's still fast?
i find it hard to justify upgrading. i told myself i would upgrade on the 14, then 15, now 16 and i still might wait for 17.

I don't even know how old my S10 is but I still don't have any reason to replace it. I know newer stuff technically has better specs but it's not like the old days where it was a noticeable change between models. I have a hard time believing I'd actually feel like there's $2k worth of value from the latest models.

I live in a complex that has these exterior bollard lights and a couple of the covers are broken and having removed it have found no trace of names, serial numbers or anything helpful to indicate where they came from. What's the easiest way to try and find an exact replacement?
Like these. Sorry not sure why image isn't displaying.

if there's no name plate (a metal plate with all the goodies), you can try to check the as-built drawings (if you don't have access to digital copy maybe there's a dusty rolled up set in the main electrical room or other main utility room for your building manager) that has it noted on the lighting schedule. Should also be in an Operations & Maintenance manual.
chances are if your building isn't new (i.e. over 5 years old) that bollard may not be available anymore.
you may then want to snap a pic and take it to a few of the local electrical suppliers or lighting suppliers and see what matches closest. could be tricky to match the lighting colour though.

Building is 6 years old and judging by the developer I don't expect any drawings of anything left behind lol and will also expect the developer to have just nabbed these from some old stock discount somewhere thus leading to your point of it probably doesn't exist anymore. May have to just go with matching as close as possible. Thanks!

They're moving the flight path further north soon so this dad and daughter activity is going away which will be sad.
I know they were doing consultations but did that officially get approved?

In a lot of the townhome developments we built the developer was the one who got the bollards as opposed to the electrical contractor etc.
Most came in non-descript boxes with Chinese shipping labels, so I think your situation sounds pretty similar, imo if there are no labels anywhere, they MAY be on the inside of the bolllard itself but that involves having the proper key to back off the set screws etc.
Even if you did find a label I have a feeling the odds of finding the same one are slim to nil. That or the only solution to replace the cover is to order a brand new bollard, and the entire units themselves are surprisingly expensive

I got the call from the shop that the WJ is done. Apparently the bill is $2700 which sounds a bit steep when all I told them to do was the alignment, track bar adjustment and two ball joints. I'm trying not to get too pissed off until I actually see the breakdown but I guess I'm back to having to DIY every stupid little thing because this is something like the 9th shop in town that has given me a ridiculous bill.

I bought the S24 Ultra this year and it's been an amazing phone. Going from the S20 to this was WORLDS apart. Just the camera alone was worth the upgrade and after all the provided discounts, it was super worth the purchase. Even though my gf is an Apple fan, she has to admit that my camera takes much better photos. I highly recommend it!

If you aren't picky about the camera which I doubt you are then yea I hear you. I went from S20 Ultra to S23 Ultra because the deals and bonus discounts were hard to pass up. I gave my son my S20 and I'll still pick it up and play around with and have zero issues with any lag at all that makes it feel like an old dieing phone. The S10 is just 1 year older than the S20 so you're probably good for a little while longer.

i just wish apple would release a foldable iphone. I kinda wanna buy that pixel fold 2 but the entire family is on apple's ecosystem and i cant get out.
Lousy parents will want to Facetime me, spy balloon needs find-my-iphone to track me in case i go to whorehouses, and she air tagged the shit out of all the cars, my wallet, my keys, etc

Precisely why you need a Pixel.
Park car far enough away from whorehouse, leave the iphone in the car, go do your video taping with the Google phone. She won't be able to find you.

Apple will never release a foldable phone because they won’t be able to perfect it.
They aren’t going to release a product that’s going to show a crease overtime like the Samsungs do.
I love Apple's Find My app.
Last year, I was shovelling snow. It was pretty deep. I was listening to Sirius XM via AirPods. In the middle of it, the left pod fell out. White on white, and being so tiny, I could not for the life of me see it. On top of that, my glasses were fucked up. I whip out the phone and ping the AirPod and eventually found it. I love the proximity feature. Zero in on the item to be found. Between the AirTags and the Tiles I have connected to keys and shit, old man with memory issues can find shit pretty quick.

Worlds apart in what way? I don't notice any real difference looking at other peoples screens and photos. Certainly not like the junp from the S7 to S10 so it seems like pretty diminishing returns for a heck of a lot more money than phones used to be. If I was a good enough photographer to justify dropping $2k for a better camera I'd buy an actual camera.

Meh.. who wants to lug around a DSLR anymore.
Phones are at the level where you can blow up prints to virtually any size and look amazing. Unless you have photography as a hobby where you’re utilizing the extended features these phones now are more than adequate
I always kinda laugh when friends and family go on trips to places I’ve been and lug around a DSLR then they see the pics hanging on my wall from iPhone 11 and 13 and are like.. why don’t my pictures look like that lol

Going from the S20 5G (non-ultra) to this S24 Ultra was a huge jump imo. Picture and Video quality is crystal clear in comparison. Using 10x zoom on this phone produces incredible detail in photos. I also shot a Youtube video for my friend on his channel and the video/sound quality is high (looked great on my TV). CPU speed and ram of course all increased so my gaming was immediately better. AI features are kinda need for editing, searching info, etc. I have yet to utilize the stylus but there are lots of uses for it apparently. These are just the things off the top of my head. There's definitely way more things I haven't even listed as I'm not a total tech nerd when it comes to getting the max out of a phone like this.
And, I might as well mention, after all the discounts/trade in value the phone was only about $1250. I've loved the phone since I got it. Really wasn't expecting it to be this much better.

Filming in Dolby vision on the new pro max is also a plus as we watch a lot of Dolby vision on our TV, I’d likely film longer clips to watch on our TV if the format translated as well as it does with stuff like Disney+ etc.

Honda is right, I think the phones are getting so close to a real camera that it just makes more sense to have 1 device that does it all.
Im making a 24x24 canvas print of my little boy with this iphone 14 shot. It has enough resolution to bin it to 24x24 and im sure it'll turn out decent.
https://i.postimg.cc/RhdZpn46/IMG-1605.jpg
Like if you told me 10 years ago you would be able to get a shot of this quality (and its JPEG, not even HEIC quality that it was taken with) i wouldn't believe you
my only problem is it seems returns are dimmishing with the new phones. I think anything past iphone 12pro its more or less the same thing as the latest and greatest device this year

For me I don't have any issues with my old phone for any of those things so even at $1250 it wouldn't be worth it. I could see for someone who plays whatever the modern mobile games are it'd probably be more necessary. But again for that price I'd rather game on a proper system.
